The Poetry Group enjoys an informative ninety minutes of sharing poems and our research and knowledge about two poems chosen each month. The group decides on a theme to be explored and circulates the individual choices prior to the meeting.  We endeavour to learn about poets including the circumstances and motivations for their work.  This gives appreciation and insights into our own preferences.  We comment on the relevance of their work in literature and culture. This is the present format but there is room for development including writing your own poems.   

We have a silent member i.e., Humphrey the resident cat of Wolverton Manor.
